Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows by J.K. Rowling -

 

 

 

I LOVED IT!  The last and final book about Harry Potter was well worth the wait.  The adventure that Harry, Ron, and Hermione take in this last book is exciting, revealing, and satisfying.  Harry has come to a crossroads and he can either flee and save himself or stay and save everyone.  It is a lot to put on the shoulders of a 17 year old, but Harry does not let us down.  We see his humanity, his fear, and his strengths shine through in this book.  Although there were a few parts that were not especially exciting, like when Harry, Ron, and Hermione are moving from campsite to campsite, nevertheless we learn important information and we, the reader, are given the opportunity to make connections for ourselves.  I am sad to see Harry go, but his end was just about perfect!

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!! It was about a girl who just moved from a town in Kentuckey and her mother just died and her dad is starting to like a lady that turnes out to be one of her mothers friend and was holding her hand at her last time when their tour bus went off a cliff and their was only one surviver ... which was Margaret ( who her dad likes ). If you want to know more read it!

True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle

 

 

Charlotte Doyle is about a girl going to America by ship. She was suppose to go with two other families but, all of a sudden the other families couldn't come because they were delayed. So Charlotte has to sail to America on an all boy ship. The crew warns her not to go on the ship but, she still got on becuase it was her father's orders. She sould have listened to the crew becuase, they knew something she didn't. Now she on board with a crew who wants to kill her and the captin. She also has to be on board with an abusive captin. Now she has to survive many months on the ship and has a big desision to make, weather to  be on the crew's or the captin's side. Read this book because I am not going to give away the ending but I will tell you a few people actually die, like one of them gets shot in the heart with a gun. So if you like high adverturous stories you will like this book.I will give this story 2 up.

A Wrinkle in Time is funny, romantic and very adventurous! This book is about a girl named Meg and a little brother name Charles Wallace. Their dad went on a mission to a bizzarre planet and has been there for a long time, when three strange visitors comes to the house and tell the children where to find their father. So the children and the three strangers go on an extrordinary adventure where they almost die. Read it! You won't be able to put this book away until you finish it!

 The lighning thief is a very good book. Those people that like mythology this is the book for you. This book is about a boy named Perseus Jackson and his mother. He does not know who his father is and he never came back. Then he discovers his father is a god. Then Zeus (another god) blames Perseus of a theft. To prove he is innocent he must find the object and bring it back to Zeus in ten days. If you want to know the rest read the book.

The Fire Thief By Terry Deary

This book is about a demigod named Prometheus. The gods have had fire and the humans didn't . So Prometheus feels sad for them so he steals fire from the gods and gave it to the humans. For this the gods punish him by chaining him to a mountain and a bird named the Avenger eats his liver everyday. Every day his liver gets eaten it reforms everyday.One day his friend Hercules comes and cuts his chains. The avenger comes ,but Prometheus breaks his neck. He almosts escapes ,but Zeus caught him. Zeus felt sad for him because it was his cousin so he gives him some wings and challenges him to find a human hero. So he sets out because he could also go to whatever century he wanted to go. When he leaves the Avenger(with a crooked neck) follows Prometheus so he could get his revenge. Read the book to see what happens. There is also three series to see what happpens to him read all three books.
