Sophie’s Story
Hi, my name is Sophie. I have blonde hair and blue eyes. Most people would think I am dumb, but really I am not. My dad’s name is Nick. That is what he wants me to call him. I hate him!!! He is a drug addict. I wish I could vacate my house.
My boyfriends name is Dillon. He is so arrogant, but I like. I think. He is really rich too. He is kind of a snob to, but he is really nice.
My mom died from cancer. That is when my dad started abusing me. He got so frustrated with my mom not being there. So he just lost control, and he made me in charge. He is so squalid.
OMG! There he is! Charles Wilks. I was so stationary. He was the most supreme guy in the whole high school. May I add he is really hot. He is the star quarter back. He was deft to win the at the football game. I have affection for him. He is really lofty. It is pretty much like we are segregated. Only two problems with him, Karri Daniels(his girlfriend), and he is a senior and I am a junior.
Dillon is so arrogant! He was walking me home when I asked him if he really liked me. Guess what he did. He started talking about his money. I think he likes Karri. Although he did, but he did not admit it.
After we said bye, I walked in my house and my dad slapped me because I was two minutes late. He claims he was worried. WHATEVER!
Next week is graduation for Charles, I want to go so bad, but my dad said “NO!!” I want to just vacate and go live in a world of tranquil parents.
Today was the worst. Charles and Dillion got in a fist fight over Karrie Daniels. I felt really “loved.” There was a big horde around them. Charles and Dillon both got detention, but Dillon got the worst because he started it. I had to walk home by myself. So I didn’t walk I ran.
I wish I had courage to break up with Dillon and get help for my dad. I can’t even invite friends over because of my dad. I mean if I had any friends.
Today is graduation for Charles and Dillon. He is going to video tape it only because of Karri. Charles is going to UT. Dillon is going to Yale. I just want to get to collage. By the Way I broke up with Dillon today.
1 Year Later
“Sophie Martin” said Mr. Bates “Going to North Texas.” “Thank you,” I said.
I finally graduated with no friends. My dad didn’t come tonight either. I wish he did. I just want to elude from him.
I am in collage now, and I finally got some friends from my science class. I have gotten to see my dad, he is doing much better. He is a lot nicer too, although he still doesn’t give me any presents.
I ran into Charles last week and he said that he and Karri broke up 2 years ago. He finally asked me out. We have been seeing each other every night.
2 Years Later
“Will You Marry Me?” he said. Charles and I have been engaged for 4 months and we are getting married next week on a cruise ship. We will be going on a long expedition with our friends. I am so excited dream came true too. My apparel is white and I will carry red roses. The dress originates from Italy. Today I got a letter from my dad and it said that I will get a surprise on my wedding day and I am scared to know what it is. He said that I might like it or not but, I hope I do. Today I’m getting married. Charles he bought our house, but I haven’t seen it yet, because he said this is our wedding present. Charles is so versatile.
“You may now kiss the bride.” Said the reverend. I laughed and kissed Charles. “Ladies and gentlemen, Mr., and Mrs. Charles Wilks.” Then I turned around to the =biggest surprise ever. My dada was sitting in the aisle! He gave me a necklace and said it was my mom’s. He cried and finally it was time for the buffet.
He is living in my house right beside the lake where he goes and prays every night. My house is big and I am out of poverty. I have nice clothes, and a lot of friends. I go to church and I am so thankful for what God has done for me. Now I have an abundance of money and I have a sanctuary too.
